Her Excellency Anna Mkapa is a former first lady of the United Republic of Tanzania. She is one of Tanzania’s most respected social and political figures with invaluable experience and network within the East African socio-political climate. During her tenure as first lady, she founded Equal Opportunities for All Trust Fund, a philanthropic organization catering to the needs of the less privileged in society. Anna Mkapa also serves on several other boards including Tanzania Minerals Corp. board and Bayport Tanzania board. She is the Chairperson of RAM Foundation board.
