Dr. Kelvin Kwaku

Kevin F. Kwaku, MD, PhD, FACC

Dr. Kevin Kwaku is Madam Rebecca Agroh’s eldest grandchild. He is Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire, USA. Dr. Kwaku earned his BSc in Physiology (1st Class Honours) from McGill University (Montreal, Canada) and MD and PhD degrees (Pharmacology) from Columbia University (New York City, USA). He completed Internal Medicine residency at Massachusetts General Hospital
and fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, both teaching hospitals of Harvard University (Boston, USA). Dr. Kwaku is a nationally recognized expert in the management of cardiac arrhythmias, and author of multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts, book chapters and webinars in the field. He also has a strong interest in healthcare workforce and delivery equity. Dr. Kwaku serves on the Editorial Boards of top journals in his field, including Associate Editor at Journal of the American Heart Association. Dr. Kwaku is a past Governor of the American College of Cardiology and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Black Cardiologists (Washington DC, USA).
