Mrs. Susana Mahamah is a product of the University of Ghana, University of Illinois in the USA and the University of London. She has tremendous experience in community development and gender related work. Mrs. Mahamah worked as a civil servant with the Department of Community Development and Social Welfare and rose through the ranks to become the National Director. She is specialized in the organization of community – based women’s groups for income generating and socio – economic activities. She is also well versed in project management, monitoring and evaluation, financial management, conflict resolution, leadership skills development, adult literacy, as well as water and sanitation matters. Mrs. Mahamah has experience in the management of vocational institutions and micro credit schemes for women. She has worked with the West African Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP), UNICEF, the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) and University of Ghana where she was a part time lecturer in Community Development in addition to her work at the Department of Community Development and Social Welfare.
