The Founder of the Rebecca Agroh Memorial Foundation (RAMF) and Chairman of the Governing Board of Ho-Lokoe Technical Institute, Dr. Ken Kwaku, delivered the acceptance speech on behalf of the newly inducted board members during the institution’s induction ceremony held on the 10th of June, 2026 at the school premises in Ho, Volta Region of Ghana.
The ceremony brought together officials from the Ghana Education Service, school management, staff, students, parents, and distinguished guests to witness the swearing-in of the inductees.
As part of the ceremony, the inductees took the oath of office and pledged to faithfully discharge their responsibilities in accordance with the laws of Ghana and the policies governing educational institutions. They were also encouraged to uphold the school’s rules and regulations and work collaboratively to advance the growth and development of the institution.
Speaking on behalf of the newly inducted members, Dr. Ken Kwaku expressed gratitude for the confidence reposed in them and assured all stakeholders of the board’s commitment to serving with humility, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility.
“We accept this responsibility with humility, integrity, and a deep sense of duty. We pledge to discharge our responsibilities with all seriousness and to the very best of our abilities,” he said.
He emphasized the board’s commitment to promoting academic excellence, discipline, innovation, and institutional growth through effective leadership and collaboration with management and other stakeholders.
Addressing the students, he noted that the board’s efforts would be geared towards creating an enabling environment that fosters learning, personal development, and future success.
In a heartfelt personal reflection, Dr. Ken Kwaku shared that Ho-Lokoe Technical Institute held a special place in the heart of his late mother, Madam, Rebecca Agroh, whose passion for education, service, and community development continues to inspire his work and that of the Rebecca Agroh Memorial Foundation.
He described the opportunity to continue serving the institution as one that aligns closely with the values championed by his late mother—service, commitment, excellence, and care for others.
Concluding his remarks, Dr. Kwaku called for the support, cooperation, and prayers of all stakeholders, expressing confidence that the Governing Board would make a meaningful contribution to the advancement of Ho-Lokoe Technical Institute and the welfare of its students.
